Apple could be planning a big surprise this Thursday in order to commemorate its 10th anniversary of its retail stores. Rumors suggest that the Apple stores are gearing up for some new hardware over the weekend or, at least, a new product that involves some retail display. Amazon tablets could rock dual core, quad-core NVIDIA processors

We know that Amazon will likely release some tablets soon and a new rumor suggests that these products will land before the end of the year with some strong hardware. We’re talking about the dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 and the upcoming Kal-El quad-core chip. We’re still probably 4 or 5 months away from an iPhone 5 launch but that hasn’t stopped the annual tradition of… case leaks! iPhones are produced in China, iPhone cases are produced in China, Apple won’t reveal details of their next generation phones pre-launch, but if the factories get chummy and some information changes hands… Well, the workers might get prosecuted later, but the cases leak now. If this one is genuine — and we never know until Apple shows the actual, final iPhone off on stage — it seems to show the LED flash has been relocated from its iPhone 4 spot beside the camera to the opposite side of the back plate. Amazon planning ‘entire family’ of Android devices, possibly a smartphone

Android is planning to release an “entire family” of Android-powered devices, not just one tablet as originally thought, according to Android and Me . Samsung announce 10.1-inch 2560 x 1600 resolution display, paving the way for a Retina Display iPad 3?

Samsung has just announced that it will be demonstrating a new display panel for touch screen devices at the SID Display Week 2011 next week in Los Angeles. The display will have a huge resolution of 2560 x 1600 @ 300dpi and will be a 10.1-inch panel.
