 A little over six months ago, Sam Greenblatt was moved away from being the CTO of webOS at HP, bringing to an end a significant amount of headbutting and tension at the upper levels of the webOS Global Business Unit. What exactly transpired to end Greenblatt's short tenure at the top of the webOS GBU isn't clear, but since his departure, HP SVP Martin Risau has been leading the Open webOS effort and we expect will be in charge of Gram as an independent company when it launches as soon as this month.  You’ve known it was coming , but Isis has been so quiet on the mobile payments front in the past few months that you might’ve forgotten the score. Now, the joint venture backed by AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon has announced that it’ll debut its system in Austin and Salt Lake City next month.
