 If you’ve been eagerly awaiting September 23rd so you can grab your very own Nokia N9 in America, the company’s first (and last) MeeGo smartphone may not be shipping in your region after all. We’ve been reaching out to Espoo in recent weeks in an attempt to nail down a US ship date for the drop-dead gorgeous handset, and much to our chagrin, we received a rather disheartening reply: “After the very positive reception to the launch of the Nokia N9, the product is now being rolled out in countries around the world. It was too good to be true — Nokia’s Swedish site had begun an official countdown for the Meego-laden N9 , instilling hope within our souls that the gorgeous device would show up on at least a few shelves by September 23rd.  According to a report from IDC, Apple shipped more smartphones than any other manufacturer in Q2, stealing bragging rights from a struggling Nokia . With 20.3 million units shipped, Apple managed to nab a 19.1 percent market share, representing year-over-year growth of 141.7 percent.  Between the “accidental” unveiling of the Sea Ray , the announcement of Fujitsu’s Mango device , and the less-than-stellar Q2 Nokia had, it doesn’t take a lot of crazy speculation to surmise that Stephen Elop’s quite the eager beaver in ensuring it’ll get the most out of its newfound marriage with Microsoft as soon as possible.  Screen grabs ain’t got nuthin’ on this one. Just as we savor a full set of screenshots showing off Symbian Belle in all its glory, a YouTube video of the unannounced OS strolls onto the scene with eight minutes of footage.
