ST Microelectronics allegedly provided parts designed by, and for Nokia's sole use to the Taiwanese manufacturer An Amsterdam district court has granted Nokia an preliminary injunction based on the hardware components in HTC's new One phone. It seems the dual-membrane microphone setup in HTC's latest was manufactured using technology “exclusively for Nokia” by ST Microelectronics. ASUS settles class action suit, settlement class members get a GPS dongle and $17 for their troubles The ASUS Transformer Prime looks beautiful with it's thick spun aluminum back. It also has an issue with weak Wifi and GPS signals because of it. Apple is in court again in China , defending another of its products from attack based on pre-existing claims from a Chinese company. This time around it’s Siri, Apple’s virtual assistant, that has landed it in Chinese legal trouble, after last year another company took issue with the iPad trademark resulting in a $60 million settlement deal .
