Sony at war, could pull music from iTunes

It appears as if Sony is at war with Apple and is threatening to pull its music from iTunes and their games from the App Store as well. Sony has plans on opening their own version of iTunes, an online streaming service called Music Unlimited, and a service that will bring Playstation titles to mobile platforms starting with Android . According to one of TUAW’s tipsters, there is every possibility that the Apple TV is heading towards online gaming with the iOS 4.3 update. BBC iPlayer app for iPad to arrive this Thursday, all set for the iPad 2 high-res screen?

The long overdue BBC iPlayer app will be released on Thursday according to a BBC engineer. Geoff Marshall, an Interactive Operations engineer for the BBC, responsible for the iPlayer services, broke the news via his twitter stream.
