If there’s one app you’ve probably got installed on your smartphone — regardless of platform — it’s Facebook , so when a new version comes out with significant new functionality, it’s usually a pretty big deal. Independent mobile app store GetJar now seeing 3 million downloads per day

According to GetJar , its eponymous mobile app store is now seeing three million downloads per day . GetJar reiterated that its stats put it second only to Apple iTunes, with over 1 billion total downloads to date. Rumor had it a day or two ago that Koodo Mobile was going to launch some new plans and add-ons. While the rumor was to be taken with a grain of salt, I popped open the Koodo website this morning to see the very same plans and add-ons in full effect. Cool beans!
