 Nokia Plan B, an initiative to unseat CEO Elop and restore Nokia to its roots, was revealed today to be a hoax. The plan emerged earlier this week when a group of nine young Nokia investors reportedly banded together to reverse the Finnish company’s decision to replace Symbian with Windows Phone.  Amazing! Sony Ericsson actually managed to keep something secret from us. The Xperia Pro is the one handset from its MWC presser today that wasn’t known about in advance, but we’re damn happy to see it anyhow.  We’re still waiting for the first OMAP 4 devices to hit the market, but TI’s planning ahead — way ahead — with its announcement today of the OMAP 5 platform that really kicks things into high gear.  Now that the Xperia Play is finally official ahead of a full unveiling at MWC next week, carriers are ready to hop on the bandwagon — or at least one is: O2 in the UK.
