Nokia doesn’t seem to like the super success of Opera Mini, hence we now have them unveiling Ovi Browser for their Series 40 feature phones . Still in beta, the application works pretty much like all other feature phone web browsers out there, heavily compressing the data to save bandwidth consumption while at the same time working faster. The Wholesale Applications Community (WAC), an alliance of companies committed to building an open applications platform which was announced during this year’s Mobile World Congress in Barcelona , Spain has been officially formed as a corporate entity.
