After yesterday's news of Verizon killing off unlimited data plans for grandfathered users , we were left with a lot of questions. Verizon CFO Fran Shammo ruffled a few feathers yesterday when he mentioned at an investor conference that every one of their customers would be on one of the carrier’s new data share plans . In an effort to clarify his meaning, Verizon sent a statement to a handful of news outlets today that shines a bit more light on how they plan to make this situation work. First thing’s first — Verizon still intends to make those pesky (for them, anyway) unlimited data plans a thing of the past, they’ll just be doing it more gradually than originally anticipated

We’ve heard reports that Samsung has shifted focus at some of its camera manufacturing facilities away from point-and-shoot cameras with the objective of ramping up production of its compact mirrorless models . And while this move implies that the company’s pocketable compacts could be doomed, that’s simply not the case.

Our inbox and our EVO 4G LTE forums have just lit up with some potentially good news — Best Buy is letting pre-order customers know that they're expecting a May 23 release date of the phone that's currently hung up in Customs . We just checked back in with HTC, and it's got nothing new on its end, but at this point any movement is welcomed.
