This tip is only for those using a TouchPad and the official HP TouchPad Wireless Keyboard While you can use just about any Bluetooth keyboard with your TouchPad, there are a lot of benefits of using the official HP TouchPad Wireless Keyboard that was released alongside the tablet. In addition to some unique webOS keys on the device that will improve your webOS experience, the process of actually pairing the device is incredibly easy and will take only a matter of seconds to complete. To pair your keyboard with your TouchPad: Ensure that your Bluetooth keyboard is turned off before you start (with the keyboard laying face down, the power button on the back should be pushed to the left)

At long last, webOS finally has an app that can identify songs via audio fingerprint. That app is the oh-so-aptly-named Song ID from SSGLabs (their first webOS app).

The rest is here:
Song ID brings music identification to webOS. Finally.

If there's one thing to like about iOS, it's that all of your preferences and settings are accessible through one app: Settings. It's, at least in my mind, poorly organized and hit-or-miss with third party app settings (that's an iOS rant all its own), but it's all there. If there's any one thing about webOS that drives this blogger crazy, it's that webOS splits managing your settings and preferences in no fewer than eighteen different apps, which on every webOS device I own usually end up with a launcher page dedicated to themselves (and a handful of similar-purpose homebrew apps).

HP was gearing up to try something really interesting with webOS. We're not entirely sure how Music Synergy would have worked and where HP Play could have gone, but as you well know, things didn't go what we could call ” according to plan “

Sometimes it can be hard being a webOS fan, sitting on the sidelines watching all of the fancy new hardware fly by at 4G speeds. A lot of it isn't all that exciting, but every now and then something stops us in our tracks. Take, for example, the new Apple iPad

While our webOS phones had access to handy little app called Multiple App Launcher , it didn't really work well on the TouchPad. So developer ScienceApps set out to remake the multiple application launcher app for the TouchPad, and what came out of that effort is the Enyo-based Starter

Although the Pre3 was officially released in Europe for just a few days, there are plenty of devices that have made it way into the hands of members of the webOS Nation. The Pre3 represented a departure from previous phones in the Pre3 line in terms of physical size, screen resolution, camera, hardware and even software.

Today started out like any other day. I got up, cleaned the house, did the dishes and fed the puppies. Then as I was about to get ready to work out, I started looking thru my music collection on my Pre3 looking for something new, fresh and motivating to listen to.
