Motorola Wilder. Motorola has now officially unveiled its previously leaked dual display phone known as the Motorola Wilder. The Motorola Wilder will be a dust proof and water resistant phone (similar to the Motorola Defy) and will feature a secondary OLED display.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Though this may sound shocking, it is assuredly true. Atinm, a developer for CynogenMod was provided a free Samsung Galaxy S2 by Samsung in order to develop for the device, potentially foreshadowing an imminent CyanogenMod relese on the SGS2.

Samsung Galaxy S2 Though this may sound shocking, it is assuredly true. Atinm, a developer for CynogenMod was provided a free Samsung Galaxy S2 by Samsung in order to develop for the device, potentially foreshadowing an imminent CyanogenMod relese on the SGS2. Antinm is the same developer responsible for maintaining CynogenMod for the Samsung Vibrant and Captivate.

The HP TouchPad HP TouchPad, the first tablet running WebOS 3.0 will retail next month at $500 and $600 for the 16 and 32 GB Wi-Fi versions respectively. The tablet, based on Palm’s WebOS operating system has handled well in the hands of tech reviewers, and reaches feature parity with the iPad 2 on specs. The TouchPad has a 9.7-inch screen, dual core processor, front and rear cameras, and charges via USB.

Three's a Crowd Over the last several years the smartphone industry has been changing and growing at a fast rate, driven mostly by Android and iOS it is growing even faster than ever before. Even so according to a Nielson survey only a third of cell phone users in the US had smartphones at the end of 2010, this shows just how new this market still is despite the monstrous growth and mindshare that it has; it is one of the few that still has such a large number of potential buyers that have not yet thrown in with a specific brand. Also looking at the future of computing in general, mobile is extremely important, whoever “wins” here will control not just the phone OS people use, but will have a hand in gaming and application sales, as well as media like movies and music.

Sprint Extends Instant MIR to 7/23 Sprint just announced their Motorola Photon 4G device earlier today , but that didn’t stop them from making another big move on this June Thursday. Sprint will be extending it’s instant rebates to all dealers through the near-end of July (the 23rd to be exact).
