Originally posted here: HTC Thunderbolt Well that was quick! Just yesterday in the land of XDA, the ThunderBolt was temp rooted. While that is helpful for certain tasks such as selecting a governor for your kernel, it isn’t really what we think of when we hear that a phone has been “rooted.” It certainly didn’t take the gang at the XDA-Developers forums long to sort this matter out for us.
