Microsoft to unveil new Xbox at E3 2012

A source with knowledge of Microsoft’s plans within the company’s Entertainment and Devices Division has confirmed with BGR that Microsoft intends to unveil its next-generation Xbox console at E3 2012 next summer. The source is not aware of Microsoft’s launch plans for the new Xbox, which we are told has been in development since 2006. Microsoft has sold nearly 54.4 million Xbox 360 units since the console’s introduction in November 2005

Best Buy, Amazon.com see MacBook Air stockouts ahead of imminent refresh

It looks like we may finally see Apple unveil its mid-2011 MacBook Air models some time this week. Best Buy has stopped shipping all MacBook Air notebooks as of this past weekend.

Android 3.1-powered Google TV 2.0 and ‘Fishtank’ developer program detailed

The original Google TV products were met by lukewarm reviews at best, and according to Geek.com , the search giant is hard at work on its new Google TV 2.0 product. Developers have been joining Google’s new “Fishtank” program to get early access to tools that will allow them to create compelling new content for Google’s next attempt at entering our living rooms. Google TV 2.0 runs a barebones version of Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) and there are reportedly only 50 developers partaking in the initial Fishtank program

Motorola confirms Verizon’s DROID BIONIC on schedule for summer launch

In April, Motorola announced that it was delaying its DROID BIONIC 4G LTE handset until the summer . The warmer months are finally upon us, but we still haven’t heard an update on when the BIONIC will make its much anticipated debut. The good news, however, is that Motorola Mobility’s official Twitter account recently confirmed that the phone is still on schedule for a summer launch
